The ultra-easy way to create a website | Web design | Creative Bloq

Found this interesting but haven't had time to play with it but Designly looks like it might be a solution, though I don't know what the pros and cons are. Creative Bloq said "The ultra-easy way to create a website.

If you think that making a website ought to be as easy as clicking, dragging and typing, get a load of Designly.....Plus, if you're happy with your site being on the Designly domain and are happy with slightly limited bandwidth and storage, it's free to use."

Google Developers Blog: Fridaygram: free web expression, million-year disk, media tools

Google Developers Blog: Fridaygram: free web expression, million-year disk, media tools: "The web opens up communication possibilities that never existed before. But with more people doing more on the web come new challenges for keeping these new channels open and free from censorship. Hugo Landa, Cubanet Executive Director puts it this way: “Today, access to the Internet equals freedom of expression”. Last week Google Ideas hosted a summit on this subject entitled “Conflict in a Connected World”. "

Back up your design decisions with hard data | Web design | Creative Bloq

Taken from Back up your design decisions with hard data | Web design | Creative Bloq: "

Do you need to reassure nervous stakeholders about a site design? Add statistical weight to your decisions with Design Quips.

You might well know exactly what you're doing when it comes to web design, but at some point in a build you're likely to run up against a stakeholder who isn't prepared to trust your expertise and instead wants hard data that proves you're on the right path. What do you do? Bluff it out and hope they won't realise?

Before you try that tack, take a look at Design Quips, a smart project by ZURB that collects useful data about habits and trends into one big reference resource."
